about us

Our instructor, Pastor Brandon Koble, is a first degree black belt in Taekwondo. Growing up in Fort Wayne, IN, he was one of the original members of the Shark Academy, obtaining his black belt through Master Dugan Hoffman and testing under Grandmaster Cha Sok Park (President of the Pan American Taekwondo Union). Pastor Koble won the state Taekwondo championships in forms, point sparring, and olympic style sparring. He qualified in nationals at all three disciplines. He was also the Herb Perez (olympic gold medalist in 1992) Student of the Year in 1996 and the Grandmaster Cha Sok Park Student of the Year in 1996.

Pastor Koble spent almost seven years as an active duty U.S. Marine, upon completion of high school and college, where he trained in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program.

Pastor Koble continues to train under Master Teri Himelick of Fort Wayne, IN under Grandmaster James Crays.

Our school will teach Taekwondo following the International Taekwondo Federation’s forms.

Pastor Koble is also a member of the Christian Black Belt Association (https://www.cbbaonline.com).
