Pastor brandon koble
Pastor Brandon Koble grew up in Fort Wayne, IN, attending Concordia High School. He received an NROTC scholarship to Purdue University where he graduated in 2004 with a B.A. in history. He then spent the next seven years as a Marine Corps Officer, including two tours in Iraq. He spent a year in the motorcycle industry as a salesman, parts department manager, and mechanic and crew chief for two different racing teams on the AMA circuit before returning to Fort Wayne in 2012 to begin his MDiv at CTSFW. He graduated in 2015, but stayed an additional year for his STM, writing a thesis entitled “Verus Modus Loquendi: A Summary of the Role of the Carmen Christi in the formation of Christology.” He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Marquette University, writing his dissertation entitled “The Defender of Schwabian Christology: The Christological Development of Jakob Andreae in the Pursuit of Concord.” For the last three and a half years, he has been working on starting a classical Lutheran high school in the Milwaukee area. The school is slated to open in Fall of 2023. Pastor Koble is married to his high school sweetheart, Trisha. They have been together for 24 years and married for 17. God has blessed them with six children: Kayla, Kylee, Kadyn, Kael, Kian, and Killian. In his spare time, Rev. Koble reads, coaches his children in softball and baseball, and plays the guitar, banjo, and violin.
Pastor silas hasselbrook
Pastor Silas Hasselbrook was born in Pittsburgh, PA and has lived in Iowa, Indiana, Texas, and Missouri before his father took a call to Montana. He is the oldest of twelve children, with nine brothers and two sisters. He attended Concordia University Wisconsin completing the Pre-Pharmacy requirements while earning a BA in Parish Music, with minors in Bioethics and Philosophy. While there he maintained organ and piano scholarships and ran on the Indoor and
Outdoor Track team, where he met an amazing fellow hurdler, his wife Moira. Moira is from Omro, WI and the oldest of six. She graduated with Silas in 2018 from CUW with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Silas graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary in 2022, after finishing vicarage at Holy Cross Lutheran Chapel in Pittsburgh, PA, and was ordained that same year. Silas is currently a student in Marquette’s PhD program in Theological Ethics. He enjoys playing basketball and board games, reading, exercising, playing organ, and spending time with Moira.
